Delbert M. "Pat" Bowling, 80, of Louisville, died Monday, February 16, 2004. He was a retired superintendent for Vermont American Corporation and a Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of Middletown Christian Church, past master of Buechel Masonic Lodge #896 and past patron of Buechel Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #339. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma K. Bowling. He is survived by his children, Lynda K. Richardson and Larry M. Bowling; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brother, Paul W. Bowling; and his twin brother, Elbert E. Bowling. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, family-owned, 5406 Bardstown Rd., with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to his church.
