He was a member of LaGrange Baptist Church, Autumn Club and Oldham County Bee Keepers. He was retired form Federal Land Bank and later Farm Service Bank. His military career of 36 years included four years during World War II and 32 years in the Army Reserves. For a decade Paul and his wife served as missionary's in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret J. Bowling; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home. Burial is in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
