JEROMEVILLE - About midnight on Wednesday, May 23, Joseph Cliffe departed this life after a brief illness of six days. He was aged 74 years.
He was the father of thirteen children, three of whom preceded him him in death. He therfore leaves a wife and ten children to mourn the loss of a husband and father. One son, who is in California, was not present at the funeral. The rest of the family were all premitted to reach his bedside before his demise.
The funeral services were held on Friday at his late home, conducted by Elder Miller of the Church of Christ.
