MRS. O. C. REAMS DIED AT SCOTIA THURSDAY
Funeral rites for Mrs. O. C. Reams, who died at her home south of Scotia last Thursday afternoon, were held from the Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 1:30, conducted by the pastor, Rev. T. W. Shephard.
Prior to her death, Mrs. Reams had been seriously ill for several days suffering from uremic poisoning.
At the services, Mrs. W. H. Waters, Mrs. Harry Miller, Miss Neva Bell Bohlke, and Mrs. John Schilling sang, accompanied by Shirley Smith. Pallbearers were Dick Farrell, C. W. Voorhees, Henry Groetzinger, Charles Keown, Harold Findley and Francis Van Skike.

Interment was in the cemetery at St. Paul.

Georgia T. Maddox was born in Jefferson County, Tenn., October 23, 1870, and passed from this life April 3, 1941, at her home south of Scotia at the age of 70 years, five months, and 11 days.
At the age of 13 she moved with her parents to Howard County. On November 6, 1889, she was united in marriage to O. C. Reams. They made their home at St. Paul until 1903 when they moved to the Lamartine neighborhood and this has been her home except for 3 years spent at Brewster, Nebr.
To this union, one son and one daughter passing away at infancy. A daughter, Mrs. Jessie Scott, passed away October 12, 1938.

She was a kind and loving mother and grandmother. Her entire life was spent in making others happy, never thinking of herself. She was well liked by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by all.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, O. C. Reams, four grandchildren, Mrs. Harold Keep, of Scotia, Mervin Scott of North Loup and Bernard and Harlan Scott, who made their home with her, one great granddaughter, Madelyn Keep, one sister, two brothers in California and one sister and one brother in Missouri, and a host of relatives and friends. –Scotia Register.
