Finch - At the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. Erskine, on Sunday morning, March 8, of paralysis, Ms. Helen Finch, aged 74 years.
The funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church on Monday and were conducted by Reverends Ray Cissell and Fuller. The text was "It is finished." John 19:13.
Mrs. Finch lost her husband eleven years ago in California. He was a physician of prominence in her native state, Vermont. Mrs. Erskine is the youngest of the three surviving children.
Mrs. Finch was respected and loved by all who knew her, an earnest and lifelong Christian, an active member of the church for over sixty years and a fond and loving mother. She will be deeply missed in the home, in the church, in the community and by all who knew her
