She was the mother of eleven children, eight of whom are still living. They are all married. She is survived by her husband who has been in very poor health for years. Mrs. Nye was a very kind and affectionate mother and a faithful loving wife; in fact it is thought that her death was brought on by the devotion she gave her feeble husband. The funeral services were held at the Maeser Ward house and the remains were interred in the Maeser Cemetery. All of her children attended the funeral. The youngest daughter, Mrs. Jessie Maxwell, whose husband has been drafted and is in the service, is taking care of the invalid father.
