Son of Charles and Sophronia Deardorff Mires. Charles Francis Mires was born 1854 California- ? Alsea, Benton Or. Brother of Robert G 1852 who lived in Alsea 1885+ another brother Henry 1850 also lived in Alsea in 1887 and then moved to eastern Oregon.
His older brother Henry married Sarah Limbaugh, her twin sister Martha married James Anglin. The mother of the twins lived in Alsea in 1890 moved to near Corvallis, back to Alsea where Henry and Sarah lived, back to California where her other daughter lived then back to Oregon.
