MRS. MARY J. ROSE DIES IN THIS CITY
Mrs. Mary Josephine Rose, wife of John W. Rose of this city, died at a local sanitarium last night after several years of failing health.
Mrs. Rose, who was 65 years old, came to this State first, from her native state, Indiana, in 1887. Later she returned to the East for several years. Since her return to California about five years ago she has made her home here.
Joseph E. Pipher of Sacramento, and Fred and Frank Gieseke of Sacramento are sons. Mrs. Ira Whitaker of Modesto is a daughter. Lew Mires of Hickman is a brother of the deceased.
The body is now at the chapel of Bowker & Wood. The funeral arrangements have not been made, but will probably be private.
