Joe John Bohac, Jr., 78, of Bartlett, died Saturday, July 11, 2009. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, with Rosary recited at 7 PM, on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Mass will be 10 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2009 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger officiated by Father Joseph Nisari. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Joe John Bohac, Jr. was born on March 30, 1931 in Williamson County, Texas to Joe and Olga (Cervenka) Bohac. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954-1956. Joe was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger, the K.J.T. , R.V.O.S. , and the Granger American Legion and active in many other organizations. He grew up in the Bartlett and Granger area making his living by farming. Joe was a man with strong work ethics and worked hard all of life. He was the father of six children. He loved raising and caring for his many animals, gardening, canning, and making his own wine and sausage. He will be greatly missed by his many loving family members and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy Bohac, Ph.D.

He is survived by his children, Ann Kuzel & husband, Emil (Bo) of Frankfurt, Germany; Joseph Bohac & wife, Cindy of Bolingbrook, IL.; Mark Bohac & wife, Nancy of Jasper, TX.; Myra Page of Georgetown; Jay Bohac & wife, Kristal of Florence; and Lois McQuade & husband, David of Pearland, TX; grandchildren, Emily Kuzel; Jennifer & Rachel Bohac; Matthew Bohac; Johnnie Valenta and Taylor Page; Justin, Klaudia, and Jayson Bohac; Tessica Mason, Kaitlyn and Lauryn McQuade; brother, Rudy Bohac of Granger; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Johnnie Valenta, Joe Weber, James Weber, John Weber, Terry Pekar, and Todd Pekar.
