Mrs. Margaret E. Ragan, 85, of Caruthers passed away Wednesday in a local sanitarium after a long illness. A native of Arkansas, she had lived in Fresno County 20 years and in California 47 years. Surviving are two sons, Oscar Ragan, and Joseph Ragan both of Caruthers; three daughters, Racheal Dunlap of Caruthers; Bertha Gibson of Crescent City; and Elzora Henson of Atoka, Okla.; two brothers, Everett White of Violet Hill, Ark. and Harvey White of Gion, Ark.; two sisters, Drucella Fullbright of Batesville, Ark. and Rosie Gray of Albuquerque, N.M.; 30 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Harry Palm Chapel, internment will be in the Washington Colony Cemetery.
