Alice was born in New Zealand to William Teal Marshall and Mary Alexander. She came to New Mexico 1882 and was a school teacher to the Indians. She married Jesse C Kimsey in Las Vegas NY 31 Aug 1893. They have children William Alexander, Mary Alice Tirza, Clarence Jesse, Zenas Howard.

Mrs Kimsey died Friday in the Vista Bowden Nursing home after a long illness.She was born May 28 1868 in New Zealand and was educated in schools there and in New Mexico.
She moved to Las Vegas New Mexico from New Zealand in 1880. and was married there in 1893 to Jesse C Kimsey in 1893.
The Kimseys moved to Colorado Springs and then Denver in 1907. Mrs Kimsey taught in a Presbyterian Mission School in San Luis Co and in Los Animas, Co.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs Alice Neville,,Denver, Three sons, William A Kimsey,of Cincinnati, Clarence J,Colby, Ks, Howard Z, Los Angelex.fiev Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
