The death of Marion Lorraine Beshara, wife of Peter George Beshara Jr., occurred on May 4, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Springhill, NS, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Muriel (Curry) Harrison. She loved children and was a member of the New Brunswick Foster Parents Association. She and her husband had 116 placements as foster parents until their retirement. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church where she was involved with the Pioneers Group. Besides her husband she is survived by her son Christopher John Beshara, her daughter Deborah Rose Beshara, both of Saint John, her brothers Robert and his wife Carolyn of Ontario, Allan Perry and his wife Karen of Sackville, NS, her sisters Shirley Ann and her husband Colin Martin of Springhill, NS, Janice and her husband Roger Smith of Salt Springs, NS, June and her husband Anthony Fitzgerald of Salt Springs, NS, and several nieces and nephews. She looked forward to the arrival of her first grandchild. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at 1:00 PM from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Huntington's Society would be appreciated by the family.
