MRS. MINNIE ECKLER

Mrs. Minnie Eckler, West Main Street died at 7:55 a. m. Wednesday of last week at Bassett hospital, Cooperstown.
Mrs. Eckler was born in Middlefield, July 2, 1868, daughter of Ira and Florence (Pratt)
(Howland) Holms.
She was married December 24, 1890, to Owen Eckler, Eggleston Hill, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer Camp, with whom she had lived from childhood.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wesley Hall, Milford, with whom she lived in later years, and Leola Eckler Briarcliff; and three grandchildren, Owen Foltz, Stanley and Jane Hall, Milford; and three great-grandchildren, Patricia, Roland, and Owen Foltz, Milford. Two sons; Leon and Ford, lost their lives in World War I, and one died in infancy.
Mrs. Eckler was a member of the Milford Presbyterian church and American Legion Auxiliary, Oneonta.
Funeral services were held at her home at 1 p. m. Friday. Rev. Frederick Eraser, Richfield Springs, assisted by Rev. Joseph Fields, Milford, officiated.
