Elloree - Kirby Smiley Jackson Sr., 48, a radio technician with the S.C. Forestry Commission, died Tuesday at his residence. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Elloree First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Santee Cemetery, directed by Fogle-Hungerpillar Funeral Home. Mr. Jackson was born in Calhoun County a son of the late John N. Jackson Sr. and Mrs. Vernie Smith Jackson. Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Epps Jackson of Elloree; a son, Kirby S. Jackson Jr. of Elloree; a daughter, Mrs. Catherine J. Wilies of Eutawville.
