E.R. CORNETT CALLED
   The entire committee was shocked yesterday by the news of the sudden death of Edward R. Cornett at his home in this city, due to heart trouble.
   Mr. Cornett was born in June 1856 at the Bethel, Oregon. He was married to Miss Mussetta Montgomery at Hillsboro, Ore., on June 10, 1891 and they moved to White Salmon on December 5, 1905. He was a member of the Christian church, an Odd Fellow, having been secretary of the local lodge for many years. He had served on the town council, as deputy county assessor and in many other responsible positions.
   Besides his widow he leaves 3 daughters, Mrs. Bernice Smith, Mrs. Jesse Peeler, Miss Eddith Cornett, all of this city; and one son, Frank Cornett with the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, also four brothers, two sisters and one uncle.
   The funeral will be held at the home Saturday, at 2 a.m., with burial in the local cemetery. The Odd Fellows will have charge of the funeral.
