OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
Clarence Cox, 78, 477 Anna Street, died at 12:21 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Wabash County Hospital. He had been ill since Feb. 8.
Mr. Cox, a lifetime resident of Wabash and Wabash county, was born Dec. 28, 1871, the son of Sam and Esther (Strong) Cox. He worked for the Wabash Cabinet Company and General Electric Company for 50 years retiring about four years ago. He was affiliated with the Wabash Christian Church.
Hobart Cox, Wabash, a son, one grandchild and four great grandchildren survive. His wife, who was Bertha McCarty, and seven brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
The body is at the Hoover-Miner Funeral Home where friends may call and where services will be held Saturday afaternoon at 2 o'clock with Dr. Ware W. Wimberly officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.
