Dorothy passed away peacefully at the age of 93. She was born in Freeze, Idaho and grew up in Steptoe, WA in a family of 8 brothers and sisters. She played basketball during high school and worked on the family farm in Steptoe. She moved to Seattle in 1945 where she met her husband William (Bill); married in 1947 and raised her family. She retired from the Bon Marche in 1971 and moved to Camano Island where she and her husband retired and resided for the past 32 years, until recently when they moved to be closer to their family. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son William Lynn in 1948. Bill passed away Dec. 21, 2005 and daughter Janice Goetz Nov. 17, 2008. Dorothy is survived by two of her daughters Judy Carter of Camano Island and Hazel Malmstadt of Seattle. Nine Grandchildren: Carol, Cheryl, Cami, Seth, Deanna, Drew, Alicia, Ryan and Nicole, at time of death eleven great grandchildren,numberous nieces and nephews and many good friends.
