Florence was the 9th of 11 children born to Orson and Margaret Warnock Magleby in Monroe, Utah. She graduated from Snow College in Ephraim, Utah and taught school in Summit County for 7 years. Marrying Elmo Gee on 8 June 1935 they had two daughters,Janet & Geri. Florence became a grandma to eight grandchildren and she served a mission with Elmo in Scotland the land of her Warnock ancestors. She and Elmo also served as workers in the Provo Temple. Florence died at the age of 89 on 30 July 1995 in Orem, Utah.
