Victor farmed and raised cattle. Many summers he cut and hauled logs, In the 1930's he hauled milk to the creamery in Koosharem.
He hauled gravel for and helped with building the first L.D.S. chapel in Koosharem. He also had a thresher and went up and down the valley threshing grain for many of the neighbors.
He was instrumental in bringing the telephones into the valley and was President of South Central Telephone at its inception.
He also served on the board of directors of Garkane Power Co. He he helped organize the the Lions Club in the valley and served in several positions, including Deputy District Governor. He served on the Piute County School Board for a number of years.
In 1960 Vic and Almeda moved to Richfield where he continued farming and ranching. Keeping the ranch in Greenwich as part of the operation.
He died on his ranch August 4, 1988. Almeda was with him. He was chasing a cow and when she looked over at him, he was lying on the ground, still with his boots, hat and gloves on.
He stated two days before his death that he wanted to play golf and also be at the ranch when he died and he did.
