Son of Florilla (nee Austin) and Joab Austin. Joab was born Mar. 15, 1785 in Torrington CT to Anne Bidwell and Nathaniel Austin, and died Nov 10, 1839 in Austinburg. Nathaniel was the brother of the elder Eliphalet Austin (husband of Sibbell Dudley)who is also buried here with much of his family. Eliphalet and Nathaniel were the sons of Aaron Austin and Elizabeth Spencer. Nathaniel was born Nov 28, 1752 in Suffield CT and died Sept 22, 1844 in Austinburg.
