The Valley Times News, Wednesday, August 14, 1996CAMP HILL --- Mrs. Florence Harris Herren, 94, of Camp Hill died Monday, Aug. 12, 1996, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 15 at 11 a. m. at Mt. Lovely Baptist Church in Camp HIll with the Rev. Bernard Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Hill Cemetery.Mrs. Herren is survived by eight grandchildren, Leon Harris of Huntsville, the rev. Bernard Harris and Ray Charles Harris, both of Birmingham, Tommie Harris of Irondale, Carolyn Harri Brooks, Xavier Harris and Mary Harris, all of Camp Hill, and Byron Harris of Auburn.Mrs. Herren was a member of Mt. Lovely Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Tallapoosa County Schools System, where she taught for more than 40 years. Mrs. Herren was a member of Ricks Chapter o 217 Order of the Eastern Star.Vines Funeral Home in LaFayette is handling arrangements.
