Mr. Baker was born 9 Nov. 1923, at Wagner, SD., & came to Sioux City as a child. He was a veteran of WW II. He married Mavis Swisher in 1947 in Sioux City, IA. He moved to Redding in 1952 & was manager of the Don Davis Salvage Yards in Redding.
Survivors include the widow, Mavis; 4 sons, Jerry, Tom, Bill & Robert, all of Redding; 4 brothers, Jack, Harold & Clarence, all of Sioux City & Richard of Iowa Falls, IA; 3 sisters, Mrs. Lucille Lowin of Phoenix, AZ., Mrs. Marie Loker of Sioux City & Mrs. Mabel Solomon of James, IA. & his mother Mrs. Lillian Baker. Funeral services & burial will be in Redding.
