Carl Branscom Funeral Tomorrow
Carl H. Branscom, 69, died Friday at the Veterans Administration Center at Whipple after a lingering illness.
He was born Nov. 19 1904 in Putnam County, Mo. and moved to Sedona from Chelan, Wash. 23 years ago.
A veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II, Mr. Branscom was active in many community projects in Sedona. He had retired from the U.S. Forest Service in 1954 with which he had been employed for several years.
Survivors include: a brother, Terry, of Chelan, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Geraldine Giles of Forest City, Ark. and Mrs. Julia Lindsey, of Chelan, Wash.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the VA Chapel with full military graveside rites to follow at Prescott National Cemetery.
