She was born November 19, 1912, at Searcy, Arkansas, the daughter of John and Nora (Patrick) Branscom. She spent her early years there and was graduated from Searcy High School.
On September 4, 1934, she was married to Oscar Lindsey at Searcy, Arkansas. Following their marriage they resided at Crosby, Arkansas until l942 when they moved to Chelan Falls. For 43 years Mrs. Lindsey was seasonally employed with local apple firms, most recently with Beebe Orchard Co. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Searcy, Arkansas.
Survivors include her husband, Oscar, of the home; four daughters, Vesta Austin of Chelan, Deanne Haworth of Omak, Lexie Grose and Brenda Baker both of Chelan; a son, Lynn of Chelan; a brother, Terry Branscomb of Demming, new Mexico; a sister, Geraldine Giles of Forest City, Arkansas; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, four brothers and two sisters.
