Philip Zolman was the eldest son to Johann Adam & Susannah (nee Isenberg) Zollman of Frederick County, Maryland. He married Elizabeth in 1800 in Frederick County. After his father died in 1811, Philip and his family migrated west with brothers Jacob & John and their families around 1812/1813 to Fredericktown, Ohio {these 3 brothers dropped 2nd "L" in Zollman}. Final move for Philip & Elizabeth and their immediate family to Farmington, MO was in 1837. Their farm house was located in the area later known as "Glenda Place", hence the name of the cemetery.
