Glenn was born April 10, 1926, in Deadwood, South Dakota to Glenn and Mary Hardy. He grew up and attended school in Deadwood, after which he served eight years in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
Glenn worked for the Chicago and Burlington Railroad for a time. He then was employed at Homestake Mining Company until he retired after becoming disabled. He spent most of his life in the Deadwood area. He lived at Fort Meade the last two years.
Glenn, 83, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at the Fort Meade VA Hospital.
Survivors: Brothers, Ernest, Spearfish, and Jim, Neptune, NJ.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
