Last rites were conducted at 1 p.m. February 6 at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in the Sardis Cemetery.
Acting as pallbearers were J. W. Long, C. R. Long, Carroll Long, Gerald Long Richard Bowen, and Jimmy Dale Long.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A. A. Bowen, Kilgore, Texas, and Mrs. A. L. Carter, Winnfield; one step-son, R. R. Long, Winnfield; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Maude Machen, Winnfield; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Among the out of town relatives called here because of her illness and death were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Westerchill of Houma, Mr. and Mrs. David Addington, Shreveport, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Bowen, Kilgore, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Bowen, Gladewater, Texas, and Mrs. Howard Barnette, Tyler, Texas.
