BRECKENRIDGE - Mildred Fambrough, a retired X-ray technician, died Thursday at a Breckenridge nursing home. She was 77. Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Wayland Cemetery. Morehart Mortuary in Breckenridge is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Fambrough was born in Stephens County and graduated from Breckenridge High School.
She attended Tarleton State College, Texas Tech University and Oklahoma A&M University, and she studied veterinary medicine. She had worked at Carswell Air Force Base and previously lived in Midland. She was a member of Center Baptist Church in Stephens County. The family requests that memorials be made to West Texas Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors: Brother, Truman Fambrough of Strawn; and sister, Emma Bordner of Breckenridge.
