Durham was a retired agent for the American National Insurance agency, and at the time of his death was residing in Rome, Ga.
He was a member of a Baptist Church and numerous organizations.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Brandon Durham of Sheffield, Ala.; a daughter, Mrs. L. L. Wyrick of Rome, Ga.; two brothers, Robert L. Durham of Merryville; Thomas B. Durham of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Richardson of Denham Springs, Mrs. R. E. Mathews of Winnfield, Mrs. Leola Wallace of Verda, and Mrs. Ida Cupples of Monroe; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Alexandria.
