Ellie Fae Abercrombie's mother may have been Ellie Young (1882-1975), daughter of Jasper Newton Young and Sarah Frances Peebles. This is based on the obituary of Leonard Lloyd Puckett (1911-2004) who was the son of Ellie Young and her first husband Thomas Marion Puckett. Leonard Puckett's obituary said that a sister Ellis (sic) Fay Abercrombie preceded him in death. Another researcher who checked Young marriage records in the courthouse in Polk County has told me that "Mrs. Ellie Puckett married J. T. Abercrombie July 30, 1920", but I've not found that record on FamilySearch.
