Leonard Lloyd Puckett, Sr., 92, died Thursday, April 8, 2004 at Northeast Medical Center in Humble, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Puckett, Norene & O.M. Bailey (daughter and son-in-law) of Waco, Tx., Nadine Matthews (daughter) of Tyler, TX., Leonard L. and Bobbie Puckett, Jr. (son and daughter-in-law) of Waller, TX., Bonnie and Billy Dool (daughter & son-in-law) of Dayton, TX. Ann McKey (daughter) of Porter, TX., Benny and Brenda Puckett, Sr. (son and daughter in law) of Bellechasse, LA., Nita and Ray Whitener (daughter and son in law) of Corsicana, TX., Joy and David Wiggins (daughter and son in law) of Livingston, TX., Latrelle and John Lindon (daughter and son in law) of Huntsville, TX., 29 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas M. Puckett, and his mother Ellie Young Puckett, brother, Walter N. Puckett, brother, J.M. Puckett, sister Velma Martin, sister Ferrell Puckett, sister Ellie Fay Abercrombie, and sister Anna Puckett.
He was born July 23, 1911 in Livingston, Texas, the son of Thomas and Ellie (Young) Puckett.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Cochran Funeral Home. Burial following in Center Grove in Livingston.
