Maywood, IL - Molly Agnes Townsend, 81, died Jan. 26, 2005, at her son's home, where she resided.
Born Sept. 23, 1923, at Hayti, MO, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine Townsend. She lived in Sikeston, MO, for many years where she was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: four sons and three daughters-in-law, Larry and Ann Townsend of Maywood, IL, Marvin and Maeline Townsend of Chicago, IL and Oscar Townsend and Herschel and Patricia Townsend of Sikeston, MO; three daughters, Mary Cornelious, Bettye Thurmon and Maxcine Townsend of Chicago, IL; one brother, James Townsend of Chicago, IL; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Monday until service time at 11 a.m. at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Roy L. Bonner will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
