John A. Rumbarger, 50, of the Anderson Hotel, Ford City, died Wednesday evening in Veterans Administration Hospital (Deshon), Butler. Mr. Rumbarger was born April 9, 1918 in West Monterey, Clarion County, a son of Albert Rumbarger and Lyda Darnell. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the James Arthur Ashe Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kittanning. Surviving are two brothers Dale and Harry Rumbarger both of Kittanning, and three sisters, Mrs. Lambert (Helen) Cullen of Ford Cliff, Mrs George (Mildred) Painter of Ford City RD 1 and Mrs. Henry (Ardith) Jones of Kittanning. RUMBARGER - Friends of John A. Rumbarger of the Anderson Hotel, Ford City, who died Feb. 5, 1969, may call from 7-9 this evening and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning, where services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. John Snyder, assistant pastor of Woodward Ave. First Church of God, Burial will be made in Kittanning Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder.
