MT. PLEASANT - Funeral services for William E. Riley, 78, former resident of the Crawfordsville community, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m in Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Riley died Thursday night at the hospital in Mt. Pleasant.
He was born in Washington County Sept. 8, 1877, the son of John and Elizabeth Lemmon Riley. Most of his life was spent in the Crawfordsville community.
Survivors include his wife; four sons: Donald and Ira of Mt. Pleasant, Ray of Ottumwa and Forrest of Minnesota; also two brothers, Robert of Muscatine and Jess of Columbus City; and eight grandchildren.
