Applegate and Great Grandfather to Doris Marie Applegate. He died at his home on Lansing Avenue, Mercer Manor, following a lenghty illness. The funeral was held from the Thatcher Building on Broad Street. For many years he was employed by the Whitehead Rubber Company in Trenton.
