Mrs. Nellie Belle Fisher, 39, 136 Concord Place, city, died at noon yesterday at the University of Virginia Hospital after a critical illness of two weeks. Mrs. Fisher was born July 15, 1913, in Waynesboro, daughter of the late Ira and Annie Pannell Brooks.

Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband, Everett Newton Fisher; one son by a former marriage, Ernest Guy Floyd, Waynesboro; two step-sons, Everett Franklin Fisher, Waynesboro and Carl Newton Fisher, who is stationed in Korea with the U. S. Army; one step-daughter, Miss Peggy Ann Fisher, Waynesboro; two brothers, Russell and Leo Brooks, both of Waynesboro; four sisters, Mrs. Gordon (Mamie) Zimmerman, Mrs. Wilmer (Elsie) Patterson and Mrs. Wesley (Gladys) Gum, all of Waynesboro, and Mrs. Wilbur (Pauline) Gum, Route 2, Waynesboro; and three grandchildren.

The body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. A. B. Conaway. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Oscar Harris, Sidney Johnson, Samuel Bales, Harry Knuckles, Chester Campbell, Milton Moses, Oscar Harris Jr. and David Hemp.

Honorary bearers will be Charles Campbell, Allen Conaway, Warren Jones, and Floyd Carter.

Flowerbearers will be Shirley Jones, Marjorie Conaway, Jackie Conaway, Frances Carter, Joan Carrol and Barbara Carrol.
