James Jordan, lifelong resident of the Cass City area, died Sunday, March 7, at Marlette Community Hospital where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been in ill health the past month.
Mr. Jordan was born in Austin Township, Sanilac County, January 18, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Jordan. He was a farmer until his retirement.
He is survived by one sister, Miss Carrie Jordan of Cass City, and two brothers, Sam Jordan of Cass City' and John Jordan of Caro, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Little's Funeral Home with Rev. Homer Bassett, pastor of the New Greenleaf United Missionary church, officiating. Burial was in Elkland cemetery.
