From 1900 to 1910 in Pickens County, Andrew was a teacher in South Carolina. During this time in about 1908, Andrew married Minnie M. McIntire (1876-1957). Minnie was a daughter of James G. McIntire, born in Kentucky ca 1846, and Sarah Lucille MNU, born in Ohio ca 1857.
During World War I, Andrew was a Colonel in the US Army. After the war, Andrew and Minnie again settle in South Carolina in Oconee County where Andrew was a college professor. By 1930, they moved to Florida.
Andrew and Minnie did not have any children.
