Anna Watson was born in Strathroy, Ontario. She came to Sanilac County in 1864 and in 1874 was united in marriage with Hugh Jordan. He died in May, 1919.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by five sons, James, Samuel and William of Grant Township, John of Deford, and Henry of Cass City; two daughters, Mrs. John Doerr of Cass City and Miss Carrie Jordan of Grant; four brothers, Arthur, William and John Watson of Greenleaf Township and James Watson of Cass City; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Nicol of Lansing and Mrs. Agnes Ellsworth of Whittemore, Michigan.
