Adam Pfeiffer, 81, died of heart disease, Saturday evening at 6:25 o'clock at his home, 935 West North street. He was born in Germany and has lived here for sixty years.
Mr. Pfeiffer was a retired merchant tailor. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church.
Besides his widow, he leaves six daughters, Mrs. Henry Ehl, Mrs. Frank Huffman and Mrs. William McBeth, all of this city, Mrs. Emil Bauroth of Toledo, Mrs. Hugo Bickel of Plainfield, N. J. and Mrs. Edward Patterson of Urbana, besides two sons, Edward and Carl, both of Springfield.
