BLITCH KILLED BY MAGISTRATE

Buckshot Tore Out Heart of South Carolina Farmer
Charleston, SC, February 7 - Henry W. Blitch a truck farmer of Meggetts, Colleton county was shot and instantly killed there yesterday afternoon by Magistrate Behling. There had been some dispute between them about a land transaction. Behling moved toward Blitch with a shotgun. Both men were armed but the magistrate was quicker with his weapon and fired first a load of buckshot ripping out Blitch's heart.
Behling surrendered to the sherrif of Colleton county.
