Jourdan Kenneth "Doc" Williamson, born January 22, 1905 at Martin Mills, Texas, passed away June 3, 1963 in Austin, Texas following an extended illness. He was a former longtime resident of Burnet and was the son of the late Dr. J. L. Williamson and Mrs. Addie Jane Finklea Williamson. He was a member of the Baptist Church and while living in Burnet, operated an electrical appliance store.

Surviving him are: two daughters: Mrs. George Wilkins of San Diego, California and Mrs. Jerry Dusek of Houston; two sons: James K. Williamson of Austin and James Lloyd Williamson of Sand Springs, OK, two sisters: Mrs. Marie Whitt of Liberty Hill and Mrs. T. A. Loveless of Corpus Christi; and his brother, L. A. Williamson of San Angelo.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, other close relatives and friends. (+ 2 more grandchildren)

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 4, 1963 at 2:00 p.m. at the Edgar Memorial Chapel with the Rev. H. D. Christian, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Burnet, officiating.

Pallbearers were: Joe Branon, Eric Miller, Howard Ellison, Raymond Hullum, Earl Foulds and Melvin Kincheloe. Interment was in the Burnet Cemetery with the Edgar Funeral Directors in charge.
