Mrs. J. L. Williamson was called by death, Saturday, March 26, after a long illness. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 10:00 o'clock at the First Baptist Church with the Reverend R. E. Harrison of Orange, Texas, holding the services and the burial was in the Odd Fellows' Cemetery under the direction of the Gamel Funeral Home of Lampasas. Mrs. Williamson was born December 29, 1879, in Louisiana, was a member of the First Baptist Church and before ill health confined her to her home she took an active part in church work at this place. Mrs. Williamson was united in marriage to the late Dr. J. L. Williamson who preceeded her in death, August 24, 1944, in Llano County on March 17, 1904, and soon after this marriage, this fine couple moved to Burnet where Dr. Williamson practiced medicine until his death. Mrs. Williamson (Addie) was the daughter of Elly (Eli) Finklea and Luvenia "Lula" Taylor.
