Father of 12 children (7 surviving) with Bertha (aka Bessie, aka Bella, aka Betty) nee Weinberger. Born in Hungary, he originally worked as a blacksmith after immigrating here in 1886, but after his daughter Rose married garmento Abe Tlumak and the Szerencsys moved in next door to them, Julius became a milliner, presumably under Abe's tutelage. He died of heart disease in 1928.

Inscription

Hebrew: "Yehudah, son of Abraham the Kohan"

Gravesite Details

I am told by his grandson Jay that Julius' father's actual name was likely Henry or Henoch, changed from Glick. He says it's likely "Abraham" was used because Henry's name probably wasn't known offhand and Abraham was often used instead.
