Miss Seba Bazar, 81, resident of Winnfield, died in a local hospital at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, following a short illness. She was a native of this parish and a member of the Laurel Heights Baptist Church.
The body will be at Southern Funeral Home until time for the funeral which will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, at the Sardis Baptist Church. The Rev. C. C. Martin will conduct the last rites. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Surviving are three sisters: Ms. Laura Lashley and Mrs. Lola Lashley, both of Verda; and Mrs. Belle King of Monroe; five nephews and three nieces.
