Obituary (Moberly (MO) Monitor-Index, Apr. 29, 1949)- Madison, April 29- Mrs. Dillie Alexander, 80, died at 9:15 o'clock this morning at the home of a son, Byron Alexander, west of Madison. She had been ill for several months. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Conway, Mrs. Alexander was born May 19, 1869, in Illinois. She was married to Robert H. Alexander in 1892. Surviving are two sons, Byron, and Roy, west of Madison; a daughter, Miss Gladys Alexander, Moberly; three brothers, Tom Conway and John Conway, Madison, and Dennis Conway, Moberly; and six grandchildren. Her husband, a son, Ray, and a daughter, Utha, preceded her in death. Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Ash Christian Church, now non-existent. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Ash Baptist Church, northwest of Madison. The body will remain at the home of her son, Byron, until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Ash cemetery.
