Ruby, of Mauriceville, passed away at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital after a month long illness.
She was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Mauriceville, Texas and was a member of the American Bridge Retirees. She was a homemaker and mother of Shelia, Rickey, and Debbie. Ruby had seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 'R.P.' Rufus Preston McClelland Jr.; her parents, Leonard "LL" and Stella (Vardeman) Boatman; siblings Kathleen Fargo and Mack Boatman Langston Boatman.
