Darwin Edmunds died at the home of his brother, Judge George Edmunds, here. April 21, aged 69. He settled in Sonora township in 1871, farmed and ran a lumber yard, moving later to Bear Creek township and then to Carthage. In 1879 he went to Prescott, Iowa. He was survived by four children. Internment was Prescott.
