HELPER- Joseph Barboglio, 34, former Helper city attorney, died Tuesday morning of a heart ailment.
A graduate of Wasatch high school, Mr. Barboglio received his law degree from Creighton university law school, Omaha, Neb., in 1935. He was admitted to the Nebraska bar the same yar.
He returned to Utah in 1936 and was admitted to the Utah bar. Shortly after, he was elected Helper city attorney, which office he held during 1938-39. Following his tenure of office, he engaged in private practice in Helper and Price.
Mr. Barboglio was born Sept. 23, 1912, in Salt Lake City, a son of Joseph and Jennie Causer Barboglio.
His father was president of the Helper State bank and the First National bank in Pirce at the time of his death in 1937.
Surviving are his mother, Helper; a sister, Mrs. Helen B. Leavitt, Price, and a brother, Frank Barboglio, Helper, president of the Helper State bank and First National bank.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mitchell funeral home, Price, under direction of B.P.O Elks lodge No. 1550, to which Mr. Barboglio belonged. Burial will be in Price city cemetery.
