Former Resident of This Parish Dies in Monroe

Albert P. Colvin, age 33, died in Monroe at the St. Francis sanitarium following an
operation Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Mr. Colvin was born in Lincoln Parish where
he has made his home up until two years ago, when he moved to Monroe and accepted a
position with the Ouachita Banking Company. He served on the Ruston Fire Department for a number of years, and has many friends in Ruston.

He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Eddie Thomas, of Monroe, his mother, Mrs. H. A. Colvin of Unionville; six brothers, Charna, Hershel, Grady, J. P., of Ruston and Lincoln Parish, and twin brother Elvie of Monroe; three sisters Mrs. Ed Volentine, Mrs. Joe Futrell, of Ruston, and Mrs. Henry Fay Robinson of Longview, Texas, and
numbers of other relatives in this community. Funeral services will be held at the
Lawhead Funeral Home in Monroe at 3 p.m., burial in Riverview Burial Park, Monroe, LA.
